Chair no. 14 in curved wood and canus seat by alexander fischel- circa 1900 - austria. This is the iconic model "consumsessel nr 14", designed by michael thonet in 1859 to equip anna daum's viennese coffee, and which will be reproduced in 1871 by alexander fischel, in his first factory in niemes. This model is an icon of the history of decorative arts, considered as the one that gives birth to the design of objects intended for mass production. Good condition.
