Vintage coat rack 1960s chrome black wall rack

Some objects are not only functional, they immediately set the atmosphere of a room. This original 1960s coat rack is a beautiful example. The design combines wood with a chromed tubular frame and has a strong, calm appearance. The wooden back panel is covered with the original midnight blue fabric in a subtle check pattern. The panel is finished with a cream-coloured trim, which beautifully contrasts with the chrome and deep black shade. The organically shaped panel has the chrome frame attached. The coat rack has a total of six coat and hat hooks. Above the hooks is a spacious rack for scarves, gloves or hats. The original rubber end caps on the ends provide a nice detail and enhance the character of the design. We have carefully cleaned and treated the coat rack with appropriate maintenance products.
