Original Danish Fanett chairs by Ilmari Tapiovaara, 1950s, beechwood frame with six slats and maker’s label. Original pair of Fanett chairs designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara, produced in Denmark between 1950 and 1959. Made of natural beechwood, featuring turned legs and a backrest with six slightly angled spindles. A well-balanced design and emblem of mid-century Scandinavian functionalism. Original maker’s label is preserved beneath the seat. Good condition. May show signs of age. Please refer carefully to the photographs. AE629
