Large modernist ceramic bowl vase. A fine example of post-war european ceramics, made in hódmezővasarhely majolikagyár, hungary, circa 1960. Amazing textural finish consisting of creamy white and blackened amber. This particular bowl vase features grid lines of varying spacing that extend over the surface of the ceramic, with ovals centered in the space stabilizing the pattern. Prussian blue enamelled interior that creates depth and light absorption. Good condition, traces of use at the bottom. See photos. Height 21 cm, max diameter 30 cm. Neck diameter 15 cm, base 13 cm.
