This rug is distinguished by a typical geometric composition, featuring a succession of large cruciform medallions on a dark background, surrounded by stylised floral patterns and a rich multicoloured border. The deep colours (reds, blues, ivory) reflect the artisanal tradition of Kazak rugs. An ancient tribal work, with a powerful and decorative design, characteristic of Caucasian productions. Condition: generally good for an old rug, with two small areas of missing wool that are not serious (see photos). An authentic decorative piece, ideal for a classic or contemporary interior.
