Set of 4 webbing Italian design chairs, 1980s

A set of 4 Italian Bauhaus chairs, inspired by Marcel Breuer’s iconic Cesca Model S64. These chairs feature the characteristic white tubular plastic frame and woven cane/webbing seat and backrest, set within a wooden frame. The cantilever design provides a subtle spring effect, ensuring comfortable seating. The chairs are fitted with floor glides for added protection. Over the years, the chairs have acquired the expected signs of use, including slight discoloration and minor lacquer wear. The cane/webbing remains in good condition. Marked on the underside as Italian design, but not produced by Thonet or Knoll. Quantity: this set is unique and only 1 set in stock. Period: 1980s. Designer/ brand: in the style of Marcel Breuer.
