Wool sofa bed, Denmark 1960s/1970s, mid-century, vintage

A classic of Scandinavian design – this sofa bed was produced in the 1960s/1970s. The wooden frame is made of solid teak. The seat and backrest are in very good condition and feature the original wool fabric. The sofa is comfortable and soft, thanks to the use of springs in the seat and serpentine springs in the structure beneath the seat. The wooden elements have been cleaned and protected with a hard oil-wax, resistant to stains and water. The upholstery has been professionally cleaned. The sofa bed shows its age but still looks great. With its subtle colour, the sofa easily fits into the interior of an apartment, studio, or workshop.
