A free-form, raspberry-pink glazed ceramic vase, known as a "lens vase," in perfect condition, by the French painter and ceramicist Max Idlas (1932-2000), circa 1960. Signed on the base with a stylus. Max Idlas, born in Marseille, opened a studio in Paris before settling near Rennes, in Brittany. See also the blue ceramic piece by the same artist.
