Antique pair of legal bookcases by William Baker Co in hardwood, satin and walnut.

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely and very rare original pair of modular legal bookcases "The Oxford" by William Baker & Co Ltd. This is probably the most beautiful pair I have seen, in rich warm mahogany with Sheraton-style satinwood and walnut inlays, which are generally very simple. The set features glass doors at the base and is open elsewhere. These stackable modular bookcases allow for size modification. They are in very good condition with normal patina, having been meticulously cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished. Dimensions (at the widest point): height 149 cm, width 88 cm each (176 cm in total), depth 31.5 cm. Please refer to the detailed photos for the exact condition.
