Very nice vase in polychrome enamelled porcelain and gold from canton in china. It presents on one of the faces a bouquet of flowers with peony, peaches, birds of paradise, carp and fo dogs. All its symbols representing prosperity, wealth, happiness and health. On the other side we have a chinese genre scene with a high dignitary surrounded by his servants, who receives a samurai, who came to deposit a bag.all decorated at the top and bottom of the symbols of prosperity. The richness of the decorations and colors make it a very decorative and unique vase. It presents on each side two handles in the shape of elephant heads in gilded ceramic and with one of them a ring. There is the artist's signature above the fans of the servants and two identification marks under the vase. It in perfect condition except for a wear of the gold on the two handles, otherwise no ginning at the neck or restoration.
