Large porcelain vase with elephant handles – 20th century

Large Chinese vase in white porcelain with polychrome decoration and gilded highlights. The vase is decorated with figurative scenes, flowers, birds, fish, and Foo dogs. The decoration includes areas with a gilded background. It is equipped with two side handles in the shape of elephant heads, with gilding. The base bears a red seal mark with six characters, Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi (Qianlong period). This mark is apocryphal, typical of Chinese productions from the late 19th to early 20th century.
