Modus Couch Table by Kristian Vedel for Soren Willadsen

Kristian Vedel Rosewood & Glass Coffee Table for Søren Willadsen – Denmark, 1960s. Elegant Danish mid-century coffee table designed by Kristian Vedel for Søren Willadsen Møbelfabrik in the 1960s, attributed to the iconic Modus collection. Crafted from richly grained rosewood, the table features a sculptural solid wood frame with beautifully curved edges, rounded legs and a recessed glass tabletop. Its refined proportions and organic lines reflect Vedel’s distinctive approach to Danish modernism, combining functionality with timeless design. The transparent glass added to the frame gives the table a light, open appearance. Good vintage condition with signs of age and use.
