Danish coffee table in rosewood attributed to Kristian Vedel – 1960s

Elegant Scandinavian coffee table attributed to Danish designer Kristian Vedel, made from superb rosewood with deep hues and very graphic veining. This piece features a particularly sculptural line with its curved legs and floating top, typical of 1960s modernist Danish design. The work with solid wood and balanced proportions gives it a very architectural presence despite its compact size. Label "Danish Furniture Control" present under the structure. Very nice original patina with some signs of use consistent with its age. Dimensions: H 32 cm. W 55 cm. D 55 cm. Ideal piece as a coffee table, side table, or accent table in a contemporary, minimalist, or vintage design collection interior.
