3-piece tea/coffee service in silver-plated metal by silversmith François Frionnet

Creamer, sugar bowl, and milk jug in silver-plated metal dating from the mid-20th century. Louis XV / Rocaille style. It is recognised by the "shell" feet and the gadrooned lids (the raised ribs), with a floral motif on the side surrounding a blank space (the cartouche). At the time, it was left this way so that the buyer could have their own initials or coat of arms engraved. All pieces are stamped François Frionnet, a highly regarded French silversmith known for its quality of craftsmanship, sometimes rivaling great names like Christofle. Master mark S.I.S (in a diamond) or the specific trademark of the workshop. E.P.N.S: Stands for Electro-Plated Nickel Silver. This confirms that the base metal (under the silver) is an alloy of nickel, copper, and zinc (known as maillechort), which is the standard for high-quality silverware.
