Spectacular work of art glass signed by Bernard Aconito, a master glassmaker who worked in Biot, a significant place in the French glassmaking tradition. This impressive decorative bottle made of blown glass, with a remarkable height of 62 cm and weighing approximately 11 kg, is a particularly expressive piece due to its proportions, the richness of its material, and the virtuosity of its craftsmanship. The body, generously shaped, reveals an extraordinary depth of colours: amber, brown, golden tones, and iridescent shades, punctuated by inclusions and genuine gold leaf trapped within the glass mass. Depending on the light and angle of observation, the decorations transform and create magnificent plays of transparency and reflections. The piece rests on a spectacular base of amber glass, powerfully undulating, composed of wavy and organic shapes that give the whole a true sculptural dimension. Its crowning feature is equally remarkable: the neck hosts a superbly sculpted stopper, intricately crafted from stretched glass and shaped hot. Handles, loops, and interlacing intertwine in an airy composition that demonstrates a remarkable mastery of the glassmaking gesture. Entirely blown and handcrafted, this unique piece possesses by nature its own design, movements, and nuances: the effects achieved within the glass mass make each creation singular and impossible to reproduce exactly. This piece is attributed to the production of Bernard Aconito from the 1990s. The signature of the master glassmaker is inscribed under the base, manually engraved with a point.
