Vintage Danish pottery vase with graphic monochrome design and glazing from Helge Österberg

A gorgeous vintage art chamotte ceramic vase from the 1950s, designed by the talented Helge Österberg, Denmark. This is a fantastic studio-produced vase, simple both in shape and glazing yet still amazing at the same time. Österberg was one of Denmark's leading artists and designers, famous for his bold design and the high quality of his work. His art has become very sought after and collectible. The shape is teardrop, with a beautiful dark brown base in chamotte style, with flame-like white glazing on the front and back. This item is very much of its time, but due to its simplicity, it still has a contemporary feeling and will add to any interior setting. It is 11.5 cm high, around 9.5 cm wide, and 8 cm deep, and is in very good condition.
