Rare vintage ceramic vase featuring horses, made in Italy in the 1940s by Egisto Fantechi Maioliche Ceramic. The company was founded in 1896 by a group of talented artists, including Egisto Fantechi. In 1905, after several years of collaboration, Egisto, who was the only true businessman in the group, bought out the shares of the other partners. After taking full control, he renamed the company Manufattura Egisto Fantechi. To maintain its recognition, he kept the compass symbol in the company’s crest. The business continued operations until 1961, when it permanently closed its doors. The vase bears the original manufacturer's label. The vintage vase is in excellent vintage condition, with no damage.
