Rearing horse statue

Superb vintage glazed ceramic sculpture representing a rearing horse. This piece is directly inspired by the traditional Chinese style of the Tang dynasty and uses the famous Sancai glazing technique. It features beautiful flowing shades of amber brown, emerald green, and cream white, providing a stunning glossy effect under light. Overall in very good condition, with some small areas of missing glaze at the base, see photo. The underside of the base is fully covered with original green felt to protect your furniture from scratches.
