Sublime blown glass vase from Murano from the 1960s, a sculptural piece by the renowned designer Flavio Poli for the prestigious Seguso Vetri d'Arte. A true gem of Mid-Century Modern organic design, this work is distinguished by its impressive density (nearly 1.6 kg for 17 cm in height). It is crafted using the masterful "Sommerso" technique: an incandescent core combining a brilliant amber hue with a deep garnet red is perfectly encapsulated in a majestic thickness of translucent glass, featuring a superb and delicate transition from smoky green/grey at the neck. The asymmetrical neck with ears, delicately stretched hot, showcases the excellence and virtuosity of the Italian glass masters of this era. The condition is exceptional ("mint condition"). The material is completely clear and, a rare occurrence for a piece of this weight, the ground and polished base is almost free from the usual signs of wear. Dimensions: H 17cm X W 13cm X D 7cm|Weight: 1.592 kg. The packaging will be extremely careful, custom-made, and ultra-protected to ensure safe shipping.
