Christofle silver metal timpani

Old timpani in silver metal, signed christofle. Presence of the grammage hallmark and that of master goldsmith christofle (see the photos) to note slight traces of wear and the interior well oxidized. I used it as a nice pencil pot for the kids. I remain at your disposal for any questions or additional photos. I guess this timpani belonged to schoolchildren in boarding school because there are numbers of numbers - initials erased on the faces. On the main side, 83 clearly visible below initials and numbers crossed out, on the other side, we guess a crossed out 98 (photo 2).
