Silver-plated metal timbale Ercuis

Silver-plated metal cup, a French birth gift made by the silversmith Ercuis, late 20th century. Decorated with chiselled designs all around, featuring acanthus leaf framing with scrolls and a scallop shell surrounding the number 520. Engravings under the glass; number 7, number 410, centaur hallmark and Ercuis silversmith's shield. The cup is in very good condition, with a noticeable dent on the front and normal signs of use. Height: 7.5 cm, Ø 6.5 cm at the widest point. Ø 5 cm at the base.
