Antique asparagus service in Lunéville faience – dish and drainer.

Magnificent and antique asparagus service in barbotine from the Lunéville factory, consisting of a large presentation platter and its matching draining tray. Superb naturalistic relief decoration representing asparagus and artichokes, enhanced by beautiful shades of turquoise blue, green, and mauve. An old piece full of charm, particularly decorative and sought after by enthusiasts of barbotine and antique ceramics. The platter bears the Lunéville mark in relief as well as the number 329. The large platter is in very good condition, without chips or cracks. The draining tray has several significant defects: An old re-glued foot, with visible glue marks. A major crack running through it. Some crazing of the glaze and signs of age. The whole retains its charm and remains particularly interesting for collection or decoration. Please take a good look at the photographs, especially those of the defects.
