Anyang - Buffet with carved solid wood no. 2

This Chinese sideboard originates from the Xinjiang region in the Northwest of China, an area with a harsh climate. It is adapted from a hollow bed platform that allowed for heated bricks to be placed inside; its depth has been reduced and openings cut into the front. It features four doors that open to storage compartments. The front was originally painted in bright colours. Each piece is unique and bears the marks of time, providing an authentic and warm interior, whether rustic, traditional, or contemporary. Dimensions: H 64cm X W 218cm X D 50cm.
