Glazed terracotta spherical jar, raised nails

A spherical jar on a tall cylindrical neck, the round body dense with raised nails, from the shoulder to the base. Reactive glazed terracotta, shaped and glazed by hand in southern Morocco. Each piece is made to order: the colour, the glaze drips, and the dimensions vary slightly from one example to another. These variations are inherent to the process. Approximate dimensions: H 50 × Ø 28 cm.
