Accolay stoneware vase

Vase signed Accolay, brand of an experimental collective of French ceramists settled in Burgundy in the village of Accolay during the second half of the 20th century (1945-1983). The model of the vase for sale is the result of the potters' research on enamel firing techniques to give a speckled effect resembling animal fur and recalling the nuances of the region's landscapes. The advantage of this vase is that it is glazed inside in peppermint green, a very contemporary color. Manual signature Accolay and mold number 27 indented under the vase. It dates from the 1970s. Good condition, a chip under the vase almost invisible when the vase is placed (see photos). Dimensions: height 27 cm, diameter 20 cm. Weight without packaging: 1400 g. Recycled packaging.
