Elegant and significant support furniture in mahogany and mahogany veneer, in Louis XVI style, featuring beautiful neoclassical architecture and rich gilded bronze ornamentation. The front opens at the top with three drawers arranged in a belt, each highlighted with brass rods and fitted with movable handles in gilded bronze with lock entries. The lower part opens with two large moulded panel doors, framed with fine brass rods. They reveal an interior fitted with several shelves, offering substantial storage capacity. The front uprights are rhythmically adorned with beautiful fluted columns embellished with gilded bronze, enhancing the architectural and elegant character of the piece. The whole is topped with a very fine veined white marble top, bordered on three sides by an openwork gallery in gilded bronze. The sides, also carefully crafted, feature rectangular panels framed with brass rods. The furniture rests on four small feet, with the front ones adorned with gilded bronze elements. A particularly decorative support piece, with generous proportions, suitable for placement in a living room, dining room, library, or hallway. Style: Louis XVI Period: 19th century.
