Wall-mounted pharmacy display cabinet — 3.80m, 1950
This antique pharmacy display cabinet is the companion to the recently arrived pharmacy counter in the workshop. Designed to be hung on the wall, it offers three metres eighty of storage behind five pairs of doors — four glazed and one solid wooden. The interior shelves (14 in total) are adjustable with a wooden rack system, and a brass bar runs the entire length to complete the composition. The oak veneer has a patch of veneer on the left side, a mark of use that is embraced rather than concealed. Originally, this antique pharmacy display cabinet was used to store remedies, bottles, and medications in a hospital dispensary. Today, its scale and material vocabulary make it a piece to be reinvented: open kitchen, pantry, shop, hotel, or restaurant. When paired with the preparation counter that originally accompanied it, it reconstructs the original ensemble. Alone, it already stands out as a character piece, capable of structuring an entire wall. This piece is made from a single unit, and we thank you for considering this during your purchase, as well as for installation; the wall mounting system should be planned according to your support.
