Poul Cadovius shelving system, rosewood

The two-level shelving system designed by Danish designer Poul Cadovius offers maximum flexibility. The individual modules easily attach to the wall rails by simple fitting, allowing the furniture to be easily adapted to everyone's needs. In rosewood, the wall shelf boasts timeless elegance; the dark wood perfectly complements light and neutral colours. This configuration includes a cabinet with sliding doors, a display case, a secretary with two drawers, and five shelves. This shelving system was designed by Danish designer Poul Cadovius, who, in addition to shelves, also designed sideboards, chairs, dining tables, desks, and coffee tables, primarily in teak and rosewood, tropical woods highly sought after in the 1960s. The shelf is in good condition. The preowner drilled holes into the shelf elements, they have been filled with woodfiller and furniture wax (as seen in the photos).
