Elegant pair of antique candlesticks in brass, patinated bronze, and cobalt blue glazed porcelain, decorated with polychrome floral medallions. Each candlestick rests on a finely moulded circular base in brass, adorned with friezes and fluting. The central shaft consists of a deep blue porcelain element, featuring a cartouche on the front with a delicate hand-painted floral design (country bouquets in shades of pink, green, and yellow). The upper part in bronze takes on a stylised corolla shape with a tulip-shaped socket resting on a leaf motif. The whole presents a classic style inspired by the Napoleonic III / 19th century, blending decorative bronze and romantic porcelain.
