Wooden storage box, empty pocket

Charming blond wood box, probably from the 1960s, with a latch on the front. This type of box was generally used to file cards, especially when borrowing books from a library. It is in good general condition, with a functional latch, a solid box but does not hide some signs of its six decades and the patina of time: superficial corrosion on the latch and hinges, stains, marks and various scratches on the wood. It measures 12.7 cm wide, 17.5 cm high and 22 cm deep.
