I am offering for sale a rare set of four fine earthenware plates from Les Islettes, dating from the late 18th/early 19th century, decorated in a "Chinese" style. Each piece is hand-painted with stylized scenes depicting figures in traditional dress, exotic vegetation, and animals (including a rooster), in a vibrant palette of red, green, yellow, and pink. 🔹 Characteristics: Average diameter: 22.5 cm. Scalloped or striped rim, depending on the plate. Various central decoration: garden, court scene, rooster, foliage. Condition: Good overall, some wear to the glaze and a small chip on one plate, no cracks or repairs.
