Very pretty earthenware plate called "terre de fer" with this fine floral decoration in a bluish green color (between fir green and duck blue?). This is the decoration called "campanule" proposed by the Saint-Amand and Hamage factory. This plate must date from the beginning of the 20th century, and the appearance of the stamp on the back confirms that it dates from between 1896 and 1952. It can still be used on a table provided you are not too fussy, because it has numerous small stains and scratches, the normal patina for a plate that is probably more than 100 years old and has been used. But for me, its vocation now is decorative, on a piece of furniture, on a wall, alone or in a collection, so it will remain a testimony of an era for decades to come without being damaged further. It is therefore in good general condition, no cracks, no chips but does not hide its age with scratches and stains on the visible face, chips on the rim and stains and cracks on the back. It measures 22.5 cm in diameter for a maximum height of 2.5 cm at the rim. I also offer (or will offer within a few hours) a round dish with the same decoration.
