We are pleased to offer for sale this magnificent Viscount David Linley hall seat made of satin wood with a padded blue ostrich leather top. A unique piece likely custom-ordered for the Connaught Hotel in one of its luxury suites. This piece of furniture is designed as a hall seat for putting on shoes, with the top lifting to reveal a luggage support. The upholstery is made of ultra-luxurious and very expensive ostrich leather, and the structure is entirely made of satin wood. The furniture has been cleaned, waxed, and polished, showing some light signs of patina due to age and use, but is overall in good condition. The dimensions are: Height 54 cm, Width 103 cm, Depth 57 cm (measurements taken at the widest point). Vintage leather items may have natural patina, cracks, creases, and wear. It is recommended to regularly wax to preserve moisture and to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight to prevent drying and discolouration of the leather.
