Chest chair

Very old salt chair. It's a chair where the seat is a safe. The salt was stored and placed next to the chimney to keep it away from moisture. It served, of course, as a seat. It's made of fir and fully tangled. Very sober in its shape, it can be used in the living room, for example to store plaids, in a children's room for toys, also at the bedside table, or to store books. Or just to sit down! It measures 85 cm in back height, 46.5 cm in seat height, 45 cm in width and 43 cm in depth. Beautiful patina of wood, usual marks.
