Willy Van Der Meeren Office

This desk is a teacher's desk designed by the Belgian modernist architect and designer Willy Van Der Meeren (1923-2002) around 1950. It was manufactured by Tubax, a Belgian company. A metal storage unit under the main surface allows for the storage of books, papers, or other small items. The original beige patterned formica top provides a spacious and pleasant working surface.
