French antique empire style quality brass 3-sided 6-light cage chandelier.the chandelier is made up of a three sided cage formation joining in the centre of the chandelier to a central finial with acorn detail to the top and bottom. From the central finial come the six scrolled arms which lead to round raised candle drip holders and the candle drips are in card. To the top of the cage is a large hanging hoop and the chandelier hangs from a 3 link chain, bar and decorative ceiling fitting with leaf detail.the chandelier has french twin core braided wiring and takes 6 small e14 screw in bulbs. The frame work is solid with a lovely deep aged patina with some light scratches. It has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on its overall finish. The drips are in fair condition with age related marks and some wear. Due to the size and weight of the chandelier it will be partly dismantled for shipping. The arms will be folded in to ensure safety in shipping. Full reassembly instructions including detailed photographs will be included. Any questions please ask before purchase.
