Dutch chandelier 6 fires

The dutch chandelier is emblematic in the history of lighting in western europe. It appears in the bourgeois interiors of merchants in the countries of the north. During the nineteenth century, its large luminaires are electrified. The one proposed here has all the codes of the dutch chandelier by its polished brass structure, its very hollowed branches in the shape of an s, the absence of glassware and especially its large sphere at the base of the chandelier. The arms are sagging to allow the large sphere to reflect the maximum amount of light. In view of the electrical wiring present at the time of dismantling, this luminaire was produced in the late nineteenth or early twentieth century. In the past, it has undergone repairs, especially at the base of the second sphere, or even photo. It was cracked probably during too much tightening. We kept the repair and we consolidated it, we moderated the tightening of the column so as not to weaken this weld. This breaks a little the verticality of the whole without however affecting its aesthetics. This is the story of this luminaire, it is beautiful to hear. The second sphere has a slight denting that is not noticeable in situation. These two "defects" make a dutch luster at a very moderate price. Passing through our workshops, it was completely dismantled and reelectrified with grounding.
