French Vintage Gold Metal & Cut Glass 5 Light Chandelier Barley Twist Arms 4539

French vintage 5 light glass metal and crystal chandelier.the chandelier is made up of a central column with 2 decorative cut glass pieces which sit between the gold metal framework. To the top of the chandelier is a cut glass bobeche from which hang 5 swags of glass beads which follow on with further swags between each arm.the twisted glass arms extend gracefully, showcasing a masterful combination of craftsmanship and design. Each arm leads to intricately designed cut glass bobeches each with 2 hanging glass prisms. The chandelier hangs from a large hoop, 2 link chain, bar and cup style ceiling fitting.the chandelier is working with french twin core wiring and takes 5 small screw in bulbs e14s. Themetal work is in good solid condition with age related patina and some verdigris. The glass and crystals are complete with no chips or cracks. The prisms may have some minor nibbles but nothing that distracts from their beauty. The candle drips are in cream acrylic and in good vintage condition. Due to the delicate nature of the chandelier it will be partly dismantled for delivery with full assembly instructions including photographs.
