Fully restored vintage 4-drawer chest of drawers

Fully restored vintage chest of drawers from the 60s. Solid wood base. Plywood top and drawers. The chest of drawers was completely sanded then varnished with two coats of light mahogany color varnish. A few pieces of plywood have been damaged over time. We therefore added a little wood paste (visible on one side in particular) to prevent further damage and to maintain a smooth surface. An iron bar was placed on the lower shelf to keep it straight. Indeed, over time and the weight of the drawers when they are full, the top tends to deform. The bar allows you to consolidate it, straighten it and thus prevent the bottom drawer from rubbing and no longer closing. This bar is not visible when the drawer is in place. The gold metal handles have been stripped. Traces of use remain and give them an aesthetic aged effect. The chest of drawers is very stable and solid. It offers substantial storage space thanks to its four drawers. These have been cleaned. Stains remain but will not present any risk to the clothes or objects stored there. L 100 cm x h 85 cm x d 45 cm. Drawers: l 93 x h 15 x d 38.5 cm.
