Superb vintage coffee table from the 1970s featuring a ceramic top made up of 28 raised tiles measuring 10 × 10 cm, depicting an elegant design of heraldic griffins. The tiles are mounted on a solid wood structure. The design, created in relief with brown, ochre, and white glazing, is particularly original and much rarer than the traditional floral or geometric patterns of this period. After research, this table is likely of Belgian or German origin, with a strong stylistic resemblance to certain productions from Boch Frères Keramis (La Louvière), although no attribution can be confirmed due to the absence of markings on the back of the tiles. The known collections from the manufacturer clearly show the production of decorative tiles from this era, particularly in the 10 × 10 cm format. Dimensions. Length: 74 cm. Width: 45 cm. Height: 34 cm. Tiles: 10 × 10 cm. Condition. Very good overall condition. Solid structure. Tiles in good condition, with no visible breaks. Nice patina on the wood consistent with its age.
