This pair of side tables or nightstands was made in Italy in 1974. The pieces feature steel frames, each carrying loose heavy ceramic tops. The ceramic tops were traditionally manufactured like large glazed ceramic tiles. The floral motifs are hand-painted. Very good original condition. It has no defects, but shows slight traces of use. Light wear consistent with age and use, one edge slightly chipped, see detail picture.
