Low plinth buffet – Louis XIV period – Reclaimed wood & Faux marble

Low buffet with two doors and skirting from the Louis XIV, 18th century, in reclaimed wood. Massive and straight silhouette characteristic of the period. The ensemble is painted in almond green and cream tones, with the top and skirting treated in faux red and orange marble trompe-l'œil. Corners adorned with bulging columns with hollow flutes. The two wide doors are decorated with recessed moulded panels. Original wrought iron fittings with sinuous decoration, lock and key in good condition. Interior construction in raw oak with a central shelf; back made of thick oak boards assembled in the old way, confirming the piece's antiquity. Signs of wear and chipping of the paint are visible, attesting to the object's age. Overall condition described as very good by the seller, with minor wear.
