Renovated antique oak sideboard | Camille

Camille is an antique buffet made of solid oak, carefully sourced and then completely renovated in my workshop, Les Trésors de Clem. With its simple lines, practical size, and timeless elegance, it naturally fits into an entrance hall, dining room, living room, or kitchen. An authentic piece that transcends time without ever losing its charm. I chose to preserve all the beauty of the oak by performing a complete sanding and meticulous cleaning, thus revealing its superb natural grain and warm hues. To bring more brightness and contrast, the interior and the top of the buffet have been painted in a soft Linen Veil shade, creating an elegant harmony between the warmth of the raw wood and the softness of this timeless hue. The two hinged doors are fitted with a new lock, allowing for perfectly functional key closure. The original hardware has been retained to preserve the authenticity and character of the piece. The entire piece has then been protected with a professional clear wax, making daily maintenance easier while enhancing the natural tones of the oak. Functional and generous in storage, Camille easily accommodates tableware, linens, board games, or everyday items thanks to its spacious interior.
