Pair of blond mahogany chairs, restoration period – early nineteenth

Set of two period chairs restoration, with blond mahogany structures. The seats, called "balls", are by definition designed with straps and natural horsehair. They are covered with a velvet fabric, yellow ochre color, with studded finishes. The backrests, moderately curved, are each provided with two intermediate bars. These seats rest at the front on "hock" legs molded in snail in the upper part. The hind feet are "sabers". This pair of bicentennial chairs will have no trouble finding its place in our current habitats, where fawn and mustard hues are more trendy than ever. ******** Period: early nineteenth.
