Pair of Renaissance-style wall sconces, dating from the second half of the 19th century. Particularly interesting fact: identical wall sconces can also be found at the Château d’Urville-Nacqueville, a 16th-century castle located in Normandy, France (see the last three photos). The central part is adorned with an imposing grotesque head with a grimacing face, characteristic of the Renaissance decorative repertoire. The arms of light are decorated with acanthus leaves and scrolls. Made of bronze. Original gilding, in good condition. Note some small stains on the arms of light and the bobeches (see photos). Electricity installed and tested, with new wires (for E14 bulbs). Wooden candles, in good condition. Careful packaging guaranteed. Delivery via Colissimo Recommended to your home. Dimensions: Width: 27.00 cm Height: 23.00 cm Depth: 14.50 cm Total weight: 4.00 kg
