Mid Century Sideboard By Bytomskie Fabryki Mebli, Poland, 1960's

The credenza in walnut veneer was manufactured by Bytomskie Fabryki Mebli in the 1960s. It is part of the 'Syrius' type 1050 living room set. The structure and legs are made of solid beech wood. The sideboard has four drawers, and behind the veneered sliding doors are two removable short shelves. A characteristic feature of the furniture from the 'Syrius' set includes metal handles and turned legs that taper downwards. The item has been renovated.
