Thonet screw piano stool, 1900

Thonet piano stool with screws. Stamped and labelled. This model was manufactured between 1885 and 1920- Black-Empire under shellac. The canning is new redone as well as originally in 5 wires ** (SR)- Perfectly stable, variable height from 49 to 60 cm, adjustment screw. Seat diameter: 38 cm. More photos and information on request. Parcels France and Europe, Alsace removal. **The 5-thread canning has a very nice square pattern distinguishing itself from the traditional 6-thread canning which has an octagon.------------ It is relatively little present on conventional chairs with dimensions of 37 cm or more.-------------- It is particularly recommended for small seats that have a lot of caning holes and therefore a very tight braiding.---------- See attached diagram.
