This adorable two-compartment salt cellar depicting two swans whose heads join to form a handle is signed Henriot Quimper under its base. It has beautiful colors, rather original for Henriot, brown and orange-yellow on an ecru background. Perfect for presenting two condiments on the table, it will also satisfy collectors of Breton ceramics. It is also indicated 92 underneath, it would seem that this is the number of the painter, that is to say the artist who decorated the piece, because it is a beautiful work of art: very fine, very precise decoration. This type of salt cellar is regularly dated to the 40s or 50s, for my part, I have not managed to obtain absolute certainty, the sources being rather discordant. What I am sure of is that it dates from after 1922. It is in good general condition, no cracks or chips but does hide some signs that testify to its age: small stains at the bottom of one of the compartments. It measures 9.5 cm in length, 8.5 cm in width, 9 cm in height.
