Fruit bowl, bird head handle HB Quimper Breton earthenware

Large earthenware bowl signed HB Quimper, featuring a hand-painted polychrome decoration typical of the Breton manufacture. This piece has a strong presence with its sculpted handle shaped like long-necked bird heads (swans) joined together, a sought-after and decorative model. Ideal as a centrepiece, fruit bowl, or simply as a decorative object. Overall in good condition with slight patina from age, 2 small chips on the edge and wear on the beaks on top. Careful shipping.
