1960s Ate van Apeldoorn bench or coffee table for Houtwerk Hattem, Netherlands

A wonderful, rustic bench or coffee table in highly recognizable design by ate van apeldoorn, manufactured by houtwerk hattem in the netherlands around 1960. It is made from three pine wooden panels in a minimalist design. The corners have very nice connections, typical for the style and adding a wonderful detail to the piece and a real sign of quality. The natural pattern of the wood remain clearly visible and it has a nice, light and warm brown colour. The piece remains in very good vintage condition, ready to add a nice touch of mid-century modern to the interior!.
